Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays ever. I love the idea of doing grand gestures for friends or family. This heart installation idea is really easy but a fun way to surprise someone on Valentine’s Day. You can set this up outside someone’s window while they are at lunch so they can see it all day. You could even take it a step further and write something you love about that person on each heart. Yea for Love!!
Material Needed: Construction Paper, Yarn, Tape, scissors
Step 1: Cut out hearts of various shapes and sizes out of construction paper (tip – fold the paper in quarters to cut multiple hearts at once)
Step 2: Cut yarn of various lengths
Step 3: Tape the hearts to the yarn
Step 4: Hang in a low tree

How beautiful!
It’s winter here in Poland and there is a lot of snow now but when the spring comes, I’ll do this project with my students – they will be excited to change the school neighbourhood:)
Thank you!

Cute idea! I’m going to hang these in the doorways of my kid’s rooms (like love beads) for them to wake up to on Valentine’s Day. 🙂

Love this idea! I did something similar hanging from a chandelier in my dining room for an “indoor camping date” with my husband just this weekend. He loved the indoor camping, but he seemed most impressed that I took the time to cut out the tiny hearts and string them from the chandelier and inside the tent in our dining room. I told him, “Love is in the air.” Cheesy? Yep!

Super sweet—they’d have to be indoors here with all the rain and snow, but would be a lovely backdrop to the winter gray! 🙂
